The American company Microsoft today started shipping a stable version of its new Windows - Windows 11.
When Microsoft introduced Windows 10 they stated that it was the last Windows and that there would be no more need to upgrade. Still, relatively little time has passed since the debut of Windows 10, but its successor is already, after 6 years, there, and that is Windows 11. This version of Windows will be available for free to all existing users of the Windows 10 operating system.
If you want to upgrade your computer to Windows 11, you can do so through Windows Update, and if the upgrade is not already available, it will be in the coming days. There is also the option to download Microsoft's Windows 11 Download Assistant. This program will download the upgrade for you, and then you will be left with the option to start the installation process yourself when you wish.
Of course, there is also the option to download the Windows 11 installation file yourself, which you can then insert into your computer via CD or USB and begin the process of installing the new Windows.
Microsoft said that the latest operating system is designed to be "clean, fresh and very easy for users", and also stated that Windows 11 will not bring significant deviations from Windows 10.
Windows 11 will still bring a lot of changes compared to Windows 10, but they are primarily related to the design of the user interface. So now there is a new Start menu located in the middle of the screen, there are new rounded corners, simplified menus and folder overview, new improved options for arranging windows and placing them in rows, etc.
