Apple has reduced production of its iPads to improve supply for the iPhone 13 series. The company was forced to switch the supply of chips to the latest iPhone due to shortages, which immediately shortened delivery times.
This only showed how using as many of the same components as possible in some way ensures production, because if there were differences and at least these parts could not be combined between iPad and iPhone and the waiting time would be significantly extended for both devices.
In other words, Apple has fared better than any other manufacturer in the course of this global semiconductor shortage. The probable reason for sacrificing the iPad is reduced demand, although the initial interest was great as time goes by, so it is not the case with the iPhone 13 series, which still dominates the retail chains and demand is not expected to decrease soon.
At the moment, the average delivery time for the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 worldwide is 12 to 13 days, and the delivery time for the more expensive iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max has stabilized at around 32 days (compared to the previous 37 days) . However, this is far from ideal considering that the iPhone 12 series had a delivery time of only a few days.
