Of all the smartphone manufacturers, Apple has the simplest and least boring event of presenting its devices. However, Apple is also known for not revealing some information about the devices at the presentation, but later. Thus e.g. Apple traditionally omits information about the amount of RAM and battery capacity of the iPhone. Now the iPhone 13 Pro has appeared on Geekbench, and it revealed the RAM capacity of this phone, but also the incredible performance…

All four phones in the iPhone 13 series are powered by Apple's new A15 Bionic chipset, but in the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini this chip has a quad-core GPU, while the Pro versions have a five-core GPU. It was this chip on the iPhone 13 Pro that appeared on Geekbench, and the phone scored 14216 points, which is about a 55% improvement in GPU performance compared to the iPhone 12 Pro, which scored 9123 points.

This is a really big shift in GPU performance, and Apple stated at the presentation of the iPhone 13 series that the five-core GPU Apple A15 Bionic chip is the fastest chip in the world for smartphones, and promised 50% better GPU performance than any other chip for smartphones. Also, at Geekbench, it was revealed here that the phone has 6 GB of RAM.

So, these are the GPU results of the iPhone 13 Pro, while the CPU results are not there yet. Also, we don’t know how the quad-core GPU A15 Bionic chipset, which runs the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, will show up at Geekbench, but it’s to be expected that the phones will hit Geekbench soon.
